I heart video games

It's been awhile and I do apologize, but I have a valid excuse. I have rekindled my love for an old friend. Video games. Up to just recently I took great pride in abusing my friends who play video games all day long. I always found more enjoyment in actually playing baseball or actually hanging out with pretty girls. Even fantasy leagues I considered to just be plain dumb. However, I now owe those people and the whom ever is reading this a formal apology. This past Xmas I received a little gaming system called Wii from a company that probably isn't going to be successful named Nintendo. Sure you've heard of the em. Initially I thought to myself this is fun, but in two weeks this is going to make a great shelf. Boy was I wrong. I wake up everyday and now instead of checking my Spankwire updates (most viewed,talked about..etc..etc) I head right for the Wii. After working out on Wii Fit, innocently flirting with my Wii Trainer, I head right to the sports games. Even when my dad comes over he doesn't even talk to me he just grabs a remote and puts the tennis game on and right when our rotator cuffs are at the end of their ropes, mom throws on the baseball game and we are home run derby-ing it for another hour or so.
Then Rock Band goes on and hours of my life are devoted to butchering Go's Go's and Duran Duran songs. All those years in my room singing We Got the Beat and Hungry Like a Wolf, you would have thought I would nail it every time. Before you know can blink it's 11pm and my neighbor's have placed numerous calls to 911 and my vision consists solely of blue, red, green, and yellow circles. I can tell you this though not for a second did I think about the economy, work, I was carefree just like I was when I was spending hours stepping on mushrooms with a fat Italian Guy named Mario. Adriana Lima (wait disregard that), bukkake compilations took a backseat in my day...which reminds me I gotta check the updates. Peace.
