Brian Bosworth Saves Lives

Well, it's NFL Draft time and what could be better timing than to have one of the biggest draft busts of all time in the news for saving a persons life. Apparently, The Boz (for whom the name The Nudge was modeled after) was at a high school giving a speech about the dangers of drunk driving as part of a community service sentence.

While he was leaving, Bosworth was observed performing CPR in the parking lot. The Oklahoman reports:

According to an eye-witness, Bosworth was seen administering CPR to a fallen man in a parking lot Friday afternoon just after speaking to the student body at Putnam City West High School.

Nancy Kuntz, the assistant athletic director at PC West, was driving on Council Road. when she noticed Bosworth drive ahead of her on a motorcycle.

Somewhere between Melrose and Reno, Kuntz saw Bosworth in a parking lot helping a man on the ground.

"He had been at West for an assembly about drunk driving,” said Kuntz. "I left school and was going south on Council and around 16th Street, there was a long line of cars. I saw this motorcycle come between the lanes to the front. And when I saw who was driving, I thought, ‘that’s him.’

"Then I drove ahead, and I just happened to look over, and in the parking lot, there was a pick-up, two men standing there and a man laid out on the ground. I did a U-turn, and when I drove back, Bosworth was giving CPR to the man.”

Kuntz said an EMSA ambulance arrived at the scene while Bosworth was assisting.

As of late Friday night, neither the identity of the fallen man nor what caused his distress was public knowledge. No report had yet been filed with the Oklahoma City Police Department. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m.

The Whitten-Newman Foundation brought Bosworth to PC West for an assembly on the dangers of drinking and driving. Bosworth was arrested and charged with drunk driving in Hollywood, Calif., on March 6. He was charged with two misdemeanor counts in Los Angeles Superior Court but avoided a six-month jail term.

There are unconfirmed reports that the reason the guy had the heart attack in the first place was he had just watched the movie Stone Cold and Bosworths poor excuse for acting set the guys ticker into a tailspin.

Remember that play on Monday night football where Bo Jackson ran Bosworth into the parking lot on that run

Ah the good old days
